Introduction

Welcome at Conseon, consulting services of Marten Fluks, your partner in engineering and technical development of mechanical equipment and systems "in motion", with focus on

the - often hydraulic - drive subsystem.

Your business area

Are mechanical equipment and systems "in motion" and their drive elements part of your business area?

Are you interested in

• better and faster design results?

• cost savings by reduced design risk?

• higher success rate by using creative and sound design concepts?

Then we like to assist you with our expertise.

Operation method

Conseon works in a structural way towards an optimal result for the customer.

This comprises among others: close co-operation, application of extensive experience, comparison of alternatives, and finally a fit-for-purpose and -wherever possible- simple solution.

Added value

Our added value can be composed of different elements, for instance:

• analyze the problem

• act as sparring partner for the customer

• generate basic and functional designs

• compare and select alternatives

• review designs, diagrams and calculations

• optimize existing solutions

• supervise and coach engineering- or development processes

Experience

As a mechanical engineer, Marten Fluks has more than 40 years successful experience in engineering, technical development and the associated management. A great variety of system designs has been realized, including integration of different drive concepts and with application of multi-disciplinary know-how.

Recent activities were -among others- his contribution to the "Vademecum Hydrauliek 2014"

(Hydraulic Handbook), to engineering of the X-, Y- and Z-drives of the Topsides Lift System on board the world's largest (offshore) vessel, and he invented a new crane concept with Passive/Active Heave Compensation System for very heavy loads.

During the Dutch Fluid Power Conference (November 2016) he presented his vision on electrical, mechanical and integration aspects of hydraulic system design.
